Newton's Law
1st Law
An object that is at rest will stay at rest unless an external force acts upon it. An object that is in motion will not change its velocity unless and external force acts upon it.
2nd Law
The acceleration of an object as produced by a net force is directly proportional to the magnitude of the net force, in the same direction as the net force, and inversely proportional to the mass of the object.
In other words: Force = Mass times acceleration
In other words: Force = Mass times acceleration
3rd Law
For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
